What is a C.O.R.E Certified Doctor?
Aside from completing four years
of undergraduate work for a bachelor’s degree, four years of Chiropractic College
for a doctorate degree, passing Parts I, II, III, and IV of National Boards,
Passing Texas State Boards, all CORE doctors must complete a full year
residency at any one of the four Core locations. The goal of this residency is to further
cultivate the didactic knowledge obtained in the many years of training and
apply this knowledge in a real world clinical setting. Emphasis is placed on
obtaining an accurate case history, examination of all neuromusculoskeletal
areas using appropriate orthopedic, neurological, radiographic, and physical
testing procedures, formulation of the appropriate diagnosis, and execution of
the correct treatment plan. Science and
practical application come together to mold a doctor that can direct your care
with purpose and efficiency while still demonstrating the personal touch needed
for patient care. Only after a doctor
exhibits clinical mastery in a condition specific, rehabilitation oriented environment can he/ she be classified as a CORE CERTIFIED
DOCTOR.
